Your music on this site

There are three levels of involvement available to arranger/composer members of OZechoir™.
The initial royalty you receive for sales of your work depends at which of these levels you choose to participate
.

You always retain the copyright of your work.

The music must be an original work, or an arrangement of something in the public domain.
For us to include pieces still under copyright,
you will need to obtain permission from their publishers.

If you wish to know more about copyright, click here or contact AMCOS:

1. Fully Presented ...DIY

MIDI/sheet music/audio tracks

You provide us with MIDI files and digital sheet music in parts, a complete conductor’s score, and an audio recording of up to half a minute for the sample page, and an mp3 track of each part separately
You retain all copyright to the work.
We market this for you on 20% commission.

2. Partially complete

MIDI / lyrics / audio

You provide lyrics and MIDI files of all separate parts, clearly indicating melody lines, and a recording of your choir singing it.
We give you an estimate of the cost, and then prepare the sheet music and conductor's score, and audio samples, and are reimbursed with 80% of the revenues until agreed costs are met. Thereafter we revert to a 20% commission.
You retain copyright of the work.

3. Raw

audio / lyrics / written notation

You send us a minimum of a rough recording and lyrics, and hopefully handwritten notation. We'll give you an estimate of the cost, which involves creating a MIDI file of each part, from which the separate scores and a conductor's score are printed. We also invite singers to record each part as separate tracks as learning tools.
We release this on this site and are reimbursed with 80% of the revenues until agreed costs are met. Thereafter we revert to a 20% commission
.
The cost of this will be higher, so it will take more sales until the investment is paid off, but you will still be on 20%. As the saying goes, that’s better than 100% of nothing.
You retain copyright of the work.
